15th Biennale of Visarte Jura, Au Gueulard, St Ursanne, 2014
"Gaia", technique mixte: porcelaine, perles, pierres, racines, plexiglass e huile d'olive. 25x25x35 cm

Series of ink portraits and porcelain heads based on a song
Technically, my whole artistic process has been focused on details.
Watercolor and ink took over my studio after searching for new techniques to liberate my style.
Stepping away from acrylic paint and collages,
freeing myself from minutiae work. Searching for the commotion without artifice, clearing my stage.
Watercolor gives one the possibility to work in absolute intensity as an acrobat in a storm.
Hazard gets into the process and takes part of the result.
Working with clay (since 2003) is a marvelous complement to watercolour.
In opposition, its tactile and sensual process is extremely slow.
It takes days to dry the clay and the surprises of firing and glazing take you
each time to new territories.
Rapidly, the idea of integrating a song for each portrait, the melody and the voice carrying the creative process.
I wanted to give another dimension to the character, give a narrator to these persons.
